What's Die-Cut?

Die-Cut means exactly the way it sounds. These plates were stamped out using a steel die and a serious press. The equipment to do this is massive; engraving supply businesses would have one - engravers wouldn't. So, these are plates where we buy the blanks and engrave them for you. Our selection is governed by what our suppliers offer. The material selection isn't here either, almost all are brass only. Custom materials are possible but minimum orders are high and the cost prohibitive. None the less, the plates are decorative and in the case of the ovals have MANY uses.

Decorative Round-End Plates
	These plates are available in 4 sizes. They're ideal for art & photograph frames. They also work very well as labels. The two smaller are brad mount - the two larger screw mount. Screws or brads are included with your order.

Ovals
	Several sizes are offered. The pictured 1x2" is the most versitile and our most popular. Rivet mount for luggage is just one of it's myraid uses. These are often used on photo albums. Orders are shipped with an adhesive backing or can be punched for screw or rivet mount. Screws/rivets are included.

Brass Shield
	We offer die-cut shields in 3 different sizes, each in a different shape. Pictured is the middle size. All shields are screw mount.

Stylized plate
	This plate was meant to be used on a large wall plaque called the tree of life. It's unusual design called our attention to it. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary - this will do it.
